harry potter and the cursed child

hi my lovelies

recently i went to see the cursed child and seriously it was AMAZING! i totally recommend it but of course i have to #keepthesecrets and anyway we’re here to talk about the book! the plot is incredible but as it is written as a screenplay i feel that it is not as descriptive.

if you don’t know the cursed child, it is basically a 19 year later thing of harry potter. it is mainly about Harry’s son, Albus Severus Potter and his journey through hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

i would give the book about a 6 out of 10 but still really recommend if you like Harry Potter

sorry this is so short

love your delicate delacour ♡

I read the book as well before I saw it. It was good (the book) but it was one of the first times I preferred the ‘movie’ or ‘play’. It was amazing though in person

I didn’t see the play, but I did read the book. It sounds like the play was much better. Honestly, I thought the plot sounded like bad fanfiction and it didn’t seem to fit at all with the feel of the original series. I was really disappointed, but maybe it was better in person?

Yeah tbh when you put it that way it does sound bad but I think the experience really changed how the book was for me. I'm also a huge Harry potter fan so I can't really say anything bad 😂

I read the book, then saw the play. I enjoyed the book but I absolutely loved the play!
